I'll bet anything but my McJam Guard Dog that the middle piece is osage orange. The outer ring and the McKnight logo? I'll take a stab at cherry.

The inside section is indeed Osage Orange. The outer portion of the circle is Pernambuco though it does resemble Cherry but slightly more amber/orange-ish. Do you have any idea what the circular shape is part of, in the grand scheme of things?
