Doyle Dykes plays a Daedalus?
Did anyone else notice that on the back of the summer Wood and Steel issue (the one with the palette guitar on the front), Doyle Dykes is clearly plugged into a Daedalus C-82 system? Is he playing a Daedalus now instead of the Riviera, or was it just for that particular show? Anyone know?

I don't know how old that picture was but I saw him play two months ago and he was still using the Rivera. BTW, I got to play two more DDSMs the past week. Both were the natural finish. If I only had the cash burning a hole in my pocket.

Like many of us have many amps, I would wager that Doyle does too.
In Ann Arbor a few weeks ago (September 2000) Doyle was playing a Rivera Sedona according to my good friend Sid - who manages the store. ------------------ Scott Peterson Marilyn Mack Group Marilyn Mack Group MP3.Com Site My Personal MP3.Com Site Dirty Cow Records My Gear "Sleeping and eating were never as important to me (as playing the guitar)." The amp could have belonged to the store, and was setup there for him to use. Who knows. I do know that he has a Rivera signature model Sedona.... Has anyone played through it? I wonder how it differs from the regular Sedona?

I know the store well, the amp was brought by Doyle. Sid told me he had never seen or heard one before. The Sedona is Doyle's Signature amp with Rivera, there is no difference between his and any other - except nobody sounds quite like he does though it! ------------------ Scott Peterson Marilyn Mack Group Marilyn Mack Group MP3.Com Site My Personal MP3.Com Site Dirty Cow Records My Gear "Sleeping and eating were never as important to me (as playing the guitar)."
