Does anyone have a line on original American Civil War music in tabulature?

I would imagine tabs for fiddle tunes that were common during the Civil War are readily available. Is that the kind of tab you might be looking for?

Do you mean guitar music? What kind of music was played then? That would be played on a true parlor guitar, right?

A few decades ago my local library in South London had a record of songs from the American Revolution, the liner notes said that these songs were often written as musical news bulletins that would spread around the communities bringing news of heroes and events, there were some great catchy tunes but all pretty easy to learn by ear, there must be recordings of historical songs from the civil war period , try searching on Amazon then maybe have a go at learning to sing the songs.
