Default Pickup for Petros

My Petros has a Highlander UST in it. It’s always served me well, but I have recently been impressed with the sounds (online) of Trance Amulet and Dazzo pickups and thought about potentially trying one of them in this guitar. Either instead of the highlander or as a second source.

The trouble is that the bridge plate is non-traditional and may not allow for this kind of pickup.

Can SBT pickups be installed anywhere other than on the bridge plate under where the saddle is?

Dazzo apparently makes a smaller version that may fit. I’ve been discussing this with Teddy.

Are there any others I should look into?

Or should I try a Tonedexter with the highlander I already have installed?

I use a Highlander with the Tonedexter. I like the sound. So much depends on the image you capture of your guitar. Went through several mics and distances before I got some I loved.
