Gibson 345 VOS neck question.. please help
Hi,
Just recently I bought a gibson 345 VOS in frost blue colour second hand. The guitar keeps in tune and sounds awesome but on the back of the neck I noticed this crack..?? Not sure its a crack and I am not sure whether it is normal or not Do I have to be concerned? Thanks for any help or info in advance, [IMG][/IMG] Last edited by Buddha; 06-01-2018 at 02:30 PM. |

That's just the seam between the neck and the body.
Congrats and enjoy!

Thanks DanR for the quick reply. So there is no reason for worry?
I tried to look on pictures on the net but did not see this "crack".. (but you can only see it on mine too from a certain angle.) |

No reason to worry. I happen to own a '67 ES335. As the neck is a separate assembly of wood from the body, there has to be a seam.
