Oh come on Barry, get a grip!

That guitar has a hole punched into the bass side panel of the upper bout - perhaps the owner dropped his beer can on the guitar? And there's a whole chunk of the treble side upper bout missing - looks like the owner's dog has taken a bite out of the guitar.

It should be easy to pass this one up.

That guitar is exquisite. I’ve seen Michel’s guitars at three different shows—Artisan, Fretboard Summit and Woodstock—and they have all been exquisite. And they sound as good if not better than they look.

You absolutely do need another guitar!! Just think how sad you'll be if that one gets away. You deserve happiness!!

As your attorney, Barry, I advise you to pick up some boat brochures, including price lists. Guitars will suddenly be recognized as the reasonable toys that they are.

You are welcome.

Robin, all those things are true, and just as you describe them.
Since you are across The Pond, you will be forgiven for failing to appreciate those features as hallmarks of "Canadian Relicing."
By the way, the top features torrefied maple syrup application, for that added sweetness. And, the Bearclaw option comes with bearclaws acually embedded in the spruce, just as the bear intended.
Now you know.
You're welcome.
David

PS: Gorgeous guitar, even sans claws.

The retainer is 100 sets of John Pearse Phosphor Bronze light strings, billed at 38.07 sets per hour or 3.81 sets per 1 /10th of an hour.

Ah, Barry, you were doing so well distracting yourself with thumb pick research and nylon string crossovers but once you got bitten by the Pellerin bug, well no cure for that. Of course, you need and want another flavor of Pellerin! It’s the next completely logical step in your guitar journey. :-)
Best,
Jayne

Just on a break from my legato problem,
