Collings I35LC - Faded Cherry - Aged - Throbaks - Bound Fingerboard...and my fave amp.

I get the attraction. I was close to getting the I35LC and then Dave's got this in the door.

It just occurred to me I'm at 7 years owning it, 7 years GAS-free, and no 7 year itch. It's still hard to describe - all of it. The feel, the tone, the precision, and the beauty.

you have a beauty there for sure! Thanks for posting a pic and sharing some of your story.

To be honest, the 'average' music store holds little excitement for me - once you are blessed to get a Collings it kind of sheds new light on what an instrument can be. Has nothing to do with being a gear snob or deserving it - it's just the folks in Austin only build em one way...the best they can. If it says Collings on it you can rest assured of that.
