Default aer 60/3 to subwoofer ??

How do I use subwoofer on aer 60/e amp do I use the di out to the sub what connectors do I need and do I need powered subwoofer. Thinking of the ZXA1-Sub will these work. Thanks steve

You'll need an active (powered) sub,,,, and maybe,,,, a crossover,,, depending on the sub you choose.

Seems you could use the "line out" from the AER to the sub-woofer, but you need to check out that sub-woofer and see what connectors it takes.

The line-out from the AER is a 1.4" normal cord; the DI out is a Canon connector (XLR) which would be a balanced signal and may be better to run to the sub-woofer.

You ABSOLUTELY need a powered sub-woofer for this application!

jseth is correct. You need a powered sub with the built in crossover. I took my 60/3 to my local music store and ran the line out to a QSC powered sub and wow, it sounded absolutely stunning. On both guitar and vocals, it added a depth and also really helped the 60/3 sound even more articulate on the mids and highs. I have since toyed with the idea of purchasing one and looked at the smaller and easier to carry EV powered sub.
