You're very wise and diplomatic for leaving open 2+3=

Yes, indeed, and also because we're all posting to Acoustic Guitar Forum in the year 2016, and there is and isn't any such thing as a guitar opening up, and ToneRite does and doesn't work, and Martin is or isn't better than Taylor, so why should we ALL agree on what 2+3= (?), and so it goes ...

Opinions Bose L1
I switched from a traditional mixer, amp, 2 mains and 2 monitors system to a used Bose L1 a few years ago, mainly because 1) four channels was sufficient, 2) convenience in setting up/tearing down, 3) the smaller footprint of the L1, 4) the fact that I could place the T1 Tonematch next to me for tweeting on the fly, and 5) the amount of headroom the L1 provided in terms of volume it produces. It pretty much sounds the same at low levels as it does cranked up. Of course, I kept my Ultrasound AG50 DS4, 50W, twin channel amp for those times when it was more appropriate. I even picked up an inexpensive, dual channel 8" powered speaker that is smaller and lighter than the DS4 by about 20 pounds. So for my current needs, the L1 has proven to be just what I needed, and I'm happy with it. Oh, and I got it for a very good price, compared to a new one, so that makes it even better!
