"Twang"-sound?
Hey guys,
I've been practicing Antoine Dufours cover of "Drac and Friends" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yu0FjmcJva8 And for the life of me I cant find a way to replicate that twang/plucking sound he does. Its hard for me to describe in words and I cant really see how he does it since its scattered throughout the song. Its a really nice addition to the song and definitely adds that funky feel to it. Any help? Thanks!

Lift the string from beneath with the thumb or thumbpick as you 'pluck it' (Lift it upward slightly)... Fun to do and noisy toooo!!! |

See I try that, but I don't get the same sound he gets on his guitar. Could it be the setup he has on his rig thats helping him do that? Perhaps I'm just not being funky enough with the guitar play lol

He is lifting the low string up and letting go to rattle into the fret. He is not using the thumb to do this, but is using the first or second finger (not sure which).
