Default Why no pics with most NGD's around here?

I've been on a few other forums and it's an unwritten rule that NGD's never happened unless there's pics posted, but seems like around these parts there are a LOT of NGD's where there are no pics. What's the fun in that? Isn't part of it seeing pictures of what everyone else is playing?

I totally agree.

I'd share a pic of my new guitar but I'm busy hanging out with supermodels at a beach party here in Cabo in my Ferrari.

Could it be because hosting sites like Photobucket are making it more difficult (i.e. expensive) to have the facility to post pics to 3rd Party sites?

That could be part of it.
But where there's a will there's a way.

I use www.imgbb.com

Photobucket going from free to a zillion dollars is the main reason.

I got an imgur account but it's a hassle so I just joined AFG as a paying member so it's easy to upload pics to this site.

Why are people still using Photobucket in 2018?! IMGUR is a piece of cake compared to Photobucket. I dinted my Photobucket account years ago once they started getting screwy.

Another option is you can post pics to Facebook first then use that to host the photos here. That's what I do, and it's easy enough. FB is still free as far as I know.

Yep or you can just use your Google account (or easily sign up for one in about 30 seconds) and host your images in albums there. Also free.

When it's free YOU are the product they're selling.

FB spies on everything you and your so-called "friends" post, then sell everyone's personal info to advertisers.

Imgur gives me headaches. The easiest I’ve found is postimages.com

The easiest thing is to become a charter member and post them right from your iPad phone or laptop.

I tried to do a reprise of my recent NGD (Gibson Dove) but POS photobucket--aka puke bucket--refuses to open . . .

Edit: it's becoming easier to view the internet as the enemy . . . even so, a couple of photos . . .

I'd be happy to collect a "nice guitar" or two on this. Your call.
