Default Anyone tried the new Enya X4 Mini? Travel Guitar

Curious if anyone tried the Enya X4 Mini?

I test drove a full size X4Pro and was suitably impressed. Not as good an acoustic tone as the Composite Acoustics dreadnoughts but very credible for the price. I'm wondering about the Mini.

It has 1 10/16 nut which seems narrow. I do wonder if they would sell more of the full sized and travel size if they made it in 1 3/4 necks instead.

Sure looks nice with the McPherson diamond finish pattern. I couldn't find the nut width, where did you see it? Thanks

Thegreatgumbino reported on the new X4 mini starting at posting #132 of sprucetop’s nine page Enya X4 thread. Dimensions appear to be friendlier than listed on the Enya website.

Some reviews have come in this week. I think this is a good and extensive one.

If I was still looking for a first CF guitar to try out it would most certainly be an Enya X4 Pro. I would probably go for the full version instead of the mini though.

I’ve got one incoming. Look forward to seeing if it’s a good, portable guitar for gigs around town.

1 5/8" is a deal breaker for me. Seems silly (stupid?) to make such a narrow neck. I like the scale length of 24, though.

Another Agf member posted a while back that the actual nut measurement appears to be different than the published specs:

* I was surprised to see the width at the zero fret is actually 1-23/32".

* String spacing at the nut is 1.44" out to out.

* String spacing at the bridge is 2.178".

Still on the narrower side but not as bad as the published specs.

Smile Crowdsourcing the wisdom!

Ditto, really curious about the lived experience with an Enya x4 Mini. I personally have tiny hands (literally smaller than a 3rd grader!) and like the frame and nut size. Plus I have the budget of a career public servant .
