Default Fresh Start- original

An original tune I wrote at the turn of the New Year. We can all use a fresh start now and again. I always find myself a bit more hopeful at the start of a new year, and this year, we really needed it.

- I tried to record this several times, with no luck. My wife came and sat in the room with me, and I finally got a decent take, hence the "I got my muse in the room with me" line. I liked it...so I left it in.

Thanks for that bit of inspiration to start my day. Nice work! Thanks for sharing.

Curious what mic you used to record? Sounds great. I need to be looking at some options for myself.

Duke, glad that could be a source of inspiration! That's awesome! I appreciate your taking the time to listen.

As far as recording, that is a cheap $70 podcast mic from Amazon. I had to pick it up for a project at work, and figured "why not make some use of it?" I'm pretty happy with the results!
