I Decided to just tune the old Arch top up to pitch with the fairly old strings it was shipped with—and see what she Sounds like! Pretty pleased. Tons of Balanced Bass/Mid and Treble Tone. That thing really, really sounds great!

Very untypical tone. Fat and not overly punchy. No strident thinness at all.

Thanks Howard. You never know when you make the jump on something like this. Got lucky I guess. The top is solid pressed like I figured. I really have the action dialed in now. Really versatile guitar. Haven’t put it down! Best! Dennis

Sounds good! The voice reminds me a lot of my 30s Kalamazoo too, with that nice punchiness on the upper strings. Though the Stewart is visually a little prettier.
