Default Beatles cover: Two Of Us

Several years ago a friend and colleague passed away suddenly in his sleep.
The last time I spoke to him we talked about the Beatles and John Lennon.
When I heard I dropped everything and went to the funeral home. There he
was in an open casket in an empty room. I got some final alone time with him
and talked to him for a bit. At the funeral they played a video reflecting on his life.
There was a segment in there set to "Two Of Us' by The Beatles and it was
awesome. He would have loved that. So when I got home I learned the song
and recorded it quickly while the feeling was still there.

Gil, I'm rolling through all of your videos. And this one really struck home with me b/c of the deeply personal story you shared, and especially b/c nobody else commented on that or the performance. I appreciated the rawness of it, since you said that you rushed home, learned the song, and recorded it to capture what you were feeling. I can sense that in your video. Thanks for sharing and sorry for your loss.

Hi Gil,
Inspiring story of sadness and tribute to a good friend.
Lovely recording.
