Your DF is definitely one of Dale's creations! The only difference is that a few other luthiers have contributed to it. It would be interesting to start a separate thread and see how many Iris Guitars are on AGF now.

[... [*]jt1 - Banner SJ...
My Banner SJ is, well, a Banner SJ. It's the original 1943 Gibson that I loaned Dale (as I loaned him an L-1, L-00, and Nick Lucas from the 1930s) to serve as the template for the similar guitars he has built.

You mean that Gibson may have time traveled and copied part of Dale's design?

I guess I have to take you off the list!

Hi srick, here's one more for your list.

2013 F-20NL - Red Spruce / Mahogany (sn: 095)

Got this delightful instrument from another member (to whom I am most grateful)
in late 2020 as the pandemic was tightening its grip. During these last two tumultuous years this guitar has been a gift, and it has taught me a lot. With Santa Cruz parabolics it just sings. I hope those of you on this list are having half as much fun as I am.

Cheers to Mr. Fairbanks!

Dave - that’s such an interesting comment as mine has been teaching me also. I have never owned such a responsive guitar and the auditory feedback I get from it really registers with me. And it never really complains either!

Hey Rick!
Been hearing about your Fairbanks, and it's nice to catch a glimpse of this beautiful guitar!! I really like those shades you have in that burst.

Enjoy your weekend!
