Default Bose S1 Pro owners, question...

I picked up an S1 Pro back in May 2018. Been working fine mostly. Does anyone know what the blue LED on the front panel is supposed to be for?

Mine doesn't stay lit during the time it's on.

Everything else works fine, it sounds like it always has, tone match settings work, and the charge / power light in the back and the channel detect lights (green when there's signal) work.

It's just the blue LED on the front lower left corner (Right if you're facing it.) just kind of fades/flickers and eventually goes out,

Anyone else's do this?

I haven't paid attention to it before, but it seems that it stays on (even with the unit switched off) while charging.

He's talking about the one on the front, not the back. My back one glows on and off while charging. The front one comes on when powered up and stays on.

Played through mine for a couple hours last night, blue light was on the whole time-at least when I checked!

Follow up..

Contacted Bose Customer Support and they confirmed that light should not go out while the unit is on, should remain lit. According the serial number, they said it was built in March of 2018.

Don't know if this also has the battery issue, they asked about that as well. Told them I knew that was an recall issue but hadn't noticed that on the one I have.

Waiting now for the RMA and they said they will repair/replace, they also expedited since I mentioned that I am using as regularly.

Should know more about this in about a week or two.

Thx to all who replied.
