Default LR Baggs Align EQ vs. Boss GE-7 with an M1A

I have a Taylor 110 that I installed an M1A soundhole mag in. Sounds great, but I’d like to fine-tune the EQ for it. For the money, how much better is the new Baggs EQ pedal vs a good old Boss GE-7 (we can compare a modded version since I know stock can be noisy at times). I’m not interested in a dedicated preamp or a sub-$200 fully parametric EQ, just an EQ pedal.

If it sounds good and just needs tweaking get the Boss GE-7.

I just want to add that the Danelectro Fish-n-Chips EQ pedal is a very good inexpensive alternative. It's plastic rather than metal construction, but I think it sounds slightly better than the Boss pedal (which I also have).
