Default Taylor 714ce 2012

I recently purchased a Taylor 714 model from a old music store in my home town that was going out of business. Other then being able to read what year it was made from the serial number, I am having difficulty finding some basic information about this model.

From my research in the forums, I was able to find that Taylor was originally using engelmann spruce in this model but later the same year started using sitka spruce. How can I tell what wood the top is?

Any additional information about this model would be great!

This is no where near definitive but I seem to recall that Taylor used a sunburst finish on most of the engelmann tops for the 714 in 2012. But contacting Taylor will be your best bet as has already been mentioned.
