Default Do You Agree?

I do, but I'm slightly biased.

I'm sure there are tons of others but that list is as good as any.

A bunch of nice guitars way out of my league. I’d pick the Collings out of all of those.

I can’t take the list seriously though since they did not put a single Gibson on there. I have to have the Gibson sound and only a Gibson sounds like a Gibson.

I'm a "Taylor guy" and that was a bad entry. Every other one was a specific model. Taylor's was a custom shop (make your own).. ...well every other manufacturer on that list has a custom shop, too.

I can't take it too seriously since it didn't have Bourgeois or Lowden on it either.

Well, that was a very nice list of guitars. An acoustic guitar player could certainly enjoy every one of those guitars.

Very nice list of guitars, but I don't wish for any of them.

I agree. Lot's of fine guitars, but none that are on my wish list. I did own the 1937 Authentic back when my old bones would play a dread - beautiful guitar.

You can all laugh at me but I'd walk past all of those for a good one of these.

That list is as silly as the so called shootouts where they compare guitars from $200 - $8000.

I'm with brucebubs, that's a list of some very fine instruments without a doubt, but how can you not have a Gibson in that mix. I am sure you could ask 1000 people and get 1000 different answers. But man, no Gibson on the list.

I dunno, it seems to me that these super high-end guitars embody the principle of diminishing returns.

I doubt the typical $1000 guitar is twice as good (however you measure that) as a $500 guitar. I'm sure that a $20,000 guitar isn't twenty times better than the $1000 instrument. But I'm just a beginner, so most of the differences are surely lost on me anyway.

Some of them sure are pretty, though.
