Hi guys any android guys here recording on there phones with an external mic?

If so whats a good microphone for android phones as im looking at picking up the pixel 3 xl.

Hi woozer…

I'd be leary of purchasing an external mic for a phone. It's as cheap to just buy a $100 digital recorder (very small) which will have better mics and work more intuitively, and doesn't have to be upgraded every other year.

YouTube is probably your friend. I just went there and typed (in the search bar) 'android phone external mic' and pulled up dozens of descriptions, and comparison videos.
