Well.....drumroll please...
I decided to upgrade my wife's engagement diamond instead. Just in time for the holidays. I'm sure it will last longer than any of the guitars I mentioned above (since I seem to be in the habit of buying then selling as of late.) When I find one that "speaks" to me, I'll snag it for sure. I love guitar hunting anyways. ....BTW, thanks for all the suggestions - I'm sure after she see's her new rock, she'll think I deserve a new guitar. It's all strategy fellas ! Just kidding. |

If I had to spend all three grand on a guitar, I'd be looking at a Collings I saw at Buffalo Brothers in June. It was right around $3,000.00, and sounded incredible...

I had right around that to spend, and none of the goodalls in that range impressed me (although some for a couple hundred more blew me away) so I got the best sounding guitar I'd heard of for less than that. The 710 coco. Saved a ton of cash.
