Default Shenandoah Acoustic 85

Does anyone know anything about this amp? The guy I usually buy equipment from recommended this amp and said he can get it to me for $350 but I have never heard of it and know absolutely nothing about it. If anyone has this amp or knows something please fill me in!

Default shenandoah 85

Here's a brief desc of the JR model-
http://www.genzbenz.com/newsrelease02.htm

I tried out a Shenandoah JR and an 85 a
couple weeks ago when buying a DDSM.
THe 85 sounded a bit nicer with the
larger speaker. The built in Alesis
digi effects are nice.

The JR model was around the price
point that you mentioned -$350 new.

If I could have bought the larger more powerful
85, for this price, I likely would
have been loading in the car ;^)

I have the Shenandoah Jr. It meets my needs well and sounds very nice. I chose it over the Fender Acoustasonic 30 and the smaller Crates. I have had a problem with the input jack on the mic channel - seems they got a batch of bad jacks that were used on some of the amps. Mine broke after about a month of light use. The amp tech at the store got everything fixed up for me, though.

I really liked the guitar sound from the Ultrasound and AR Acoustic amps, but I had to have a reasonably-priced two-channel amp for vocal mic use. The Genz-Benz amps are definitely worth consideration.
