Super Scoop
I took the advise of several forum members and started shopping my local Craigslist for studio monitors. I just picked up two Yamaha HS80M monitors plus a set of tower stands fo $400. These things are like new, original packaging, manual etc. The previous owner said he used them for about 10 hours or so in a research project for the IT company he works for.
Thanks for the advice forum members. I am grin'in ear to ear.
