Same here - with it, every penny. I drilled a hole through the end of the shaft and made a wooden handle for it. It takes only a few turns to ream by hand and I can steer the cut a bit by backing up and re-reaming areas to make sure it’s dead straight. I’ve used it on a lot of instruments and it’s held up, and it never ruins anything.

Ok yeah please post. I thought that using a drill in an already existing hole would be a very dangerous thing to do.
