I'm guessing this is a US only Beta Test, but we will see.

D’Addario has one string type that I never see carried. One of the D’Addario employees on this forum sent me a set after I mentioned on here I hated the squeak of EXPs.
They’re called Flat Tops. I order them online. I never see them in any store. But they’re wonderful. They are smooth and warm and they have about zero string noise. Great for recording. If anyone gets tired of squeak, try these. My favorite strings are Santa Cruz, but they’re a little noisy.

Anyone get a fun package in the mail? I've had the beta 80/20 light strings on my J-45 for a couple days now. Not sure if I can talk any further because it says "CONFIDENTIAL" and I've never done a beta test for them before.

I got the email today. Probably gonna put them on my LLX6A since I'm not digging the SIT CRTs on it now.

I just received an email from them this morning saying I've been selected as a beta tester and that some strings are on the way. It doesn't specify what is showing up aside from the "coating technology" previously alluded to in this thread. Should be interesting as I've rarely been a fan of coated strings in the past, but maybe these will be something great
