2019 PreWar Guitars Co IHD Shadetop *Sold*
Selling my 2019 Pre*War Guitars Co Shadetop IHD in distress level 1 (which is the lowest they offer). This is the Granadillo Herringbone version - I bought 2 Pre*Wars (also a 000-18) but can only afford to keep one.
Taylor guitars describes Granadillo this way: "similar in tone to rosewood, granadillo boasts a broad frequency range with clear articulation and a bell-like sparkle that enhances the sustain. Because it tends to be slightly harder and denser than rosewood, the tone can produce a little extra chime." I'm moving most of the dreads in my collection over to 000/OM sizes, so that's why I'm selling this vs the 000. $5300, no trades on this one. Current build price for a shadetop IHD is $5746 (5495 base +250 shade top) with a 2 year wait. Distress level 1 factory finish checking and minor signs of use (swirl marks and light blemishes consistent with the aged, reliced finish) with original Harptone Case. Factory string height 3/32" 6th string and 2/32" 1st string at the 12th fret with full saddle Plenty of experience buying and selling here and elsewhere so deal with confidence. https://reverb.com/shop/seths-gear-garage-120/feedback Here is a comparison of the PreWar HD models for those wondering how Granadillo sounds. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5zYTI87AqDg Granadillo at 1:55 FSC Honduran Mahogany neck w/two way truss rod Standard 1937 "C" to "V" neck shape. If I didn’t already have my PW HD EIR I’d be in on this. And I waited 18 months!
Incredible guitar..... |

Thanks and I agree, all of the PWGC's I've played have been remarkable.

With all the buzz on these guitars I'm surprised this one is still here.
Any shots of the top that are not in direct sunlight ? What's the action at the 12th fret ? Still 3/32" on the bass and 2/32" on the treble E strings as shown on most of their paperwork ? Thanks

I'm guessing it's the combo of the darker burst and unfamiliarity with Granadillo that have held this one up but judging by the interest, it wont be long.
Yes it still at factory specs (I've updated the listing). I don't have pics handy but could take some. PM me if you want more info. Seth |

I've been steering away from dreads and like you also prefer OM/000 sized guitars, but jeez this one is stunning...
