Default simple, beautiful Taylor GC3e acoustic-electric guitar - taken off the market

The Taylor Grand Concert guitar is the most beautiful of all the Taylor models
This GC3e has the solid spruce top with solid sapele (comparable to mahogany in tone) on the back and sides
Sounds beautiful both acoustically and through a sound system (has the preferred ES1.3 pickup system)

The fretboard is ebony, with a 1 3/4" nut width and a short scale length (24 7/8")
Nice low action, minor fret wear on the B string (as seen in the pictures)
Built with the Taylor NT neck that is a dream to reset if it is ever needed

Very minor scratching on the treble side of the sound hole (hard to even get a good picture of it)
Only the tiniest of nicks on the spruce top, everywhere else is clean

I keep my guitars in a smoke-free environment with proper humidification
The original Taylor case has some wear, but all latches work and it fully protects.

$800+shipping

I am a *HUGE* fan of this series of guitars from Taylor.

These were Taylor's "acoustic" line which was a stripped down offering, with very basic appointments (no elaborate bling), no cutaways and no built-in electronics. If you wanted a Taylor acoustic guitar these were the best deals.

I have two and can attest they are fantastic. In fact my GC7 has better features and specs that aren't even offered anymore. So I know, for a fact, these are great guitars.

Taylor started offering electronics in these, then started offering cutaway versions, then I am guessing they realized that these were simply cannibalizing sales from their more profitable higher priced versions of the same exact guitar, so they discontinued them.

The GC3 is the a great bang-for-the-buck Grand Concert Taylor.

I have no association with this seller but wanted to share an outside perspective and I highly recommend these guitars!

Good luck with your sale!

Fazool, thank you for those reflections on the GC line.

I am limiting the potential sale of this guitar to local purchases as I'd rather not ship in the cold weather. If you're in the Maryland/NE Virginia/Delaware/SE PA/etc. area and are interested in meeting up to see this guitar drop me a pvt msg.
