I'm in the unique situation to receive 2 custom builds sometime in the early months of 2020:
A Wilborn Arum model in Tunnel 14 Redwood over Cocobolo and
A Baranik Meridian model in Colorado Blue Spruce over Machinga

Both of them currently have build threads ongoing in the Custom Shop subforum...

I should be getting my Skytop Custom late Summer / Early Fall of 2020 - Swiss Moon Spruce and Walnut - with a walnut neck.

Very excited for it - Eric has been tremendous so far!

I'm not picky...whatever previous customs you guys need to sell to afford these expected new customs will be fine with me.

Don't frown at me. If it weren't for me (and others like), your resale values wouldn't be as high. And, I'm helping the builders too. The demand for their new custom guitars is derived to some extent from the demand for their used customs.

I'm just not at the top of the food chain. Don't know what I want well enough and don't have enough money to find out by commissioning until I do figure it all out--only to have it change. Lol.

Just happy we've got a neat system where all of this works out.

Happy Holidays to All!
Louis

A mule resonator, probably in June. Going for a tricone with a flame maple neck and a pickup. Not many options to pick.

I also have a Jason Romero banjo in order but I don’t think it will be 2020 but fingers crossed.

I love the sound of Jason's banjos. If I ever decide to to take up that instrument, that's what I would want.

A coupe of 12-fret "modified" dreadnought guitars from Ken Casper in Madagascar Rosewood, one with an Engelmann top and one with an Adirondack top. Hand rubbed violin bursts. Should be lovely. Ken has been updating a build thread here every now and then. Should be done sometime in the spring, I'm guessing.

I was on the previous list and after 17 months of waiting have had my new beauty for 4 months now. So, it is great to see all of these custom builds taking shape over this next year. Congrats to all of you who are working with some outstanding luthiers to dial in just what you want. I will be happily going along for the ride.

Best,
Jayne
