...tried everything listed so far...good ol Windex works as good as any of them

I find Windex leaves the surface smeary-looking on most stainless steel appliances.

If it's really smudgy I'll start with Windex and finish with stainless steel polish.

...I suspect that not all stainless steel are the same...no doubt there are differences....what works on some ss appliances may not work as well on others...I do not get a smeary look results with Windex....my wife is German...and a nurse....smeary looking appliances would never be acceptable...
