MXR Dyna Comp
Got my Dyna Comp today and i'm absolutely in love with what it's done to my clean tone. I have the output at 12 and have the Sensitivity set at 3 oclock. sounds wonderful.
Who else here uses a dyna comp and what settings do you have yours at? also looking for suggestions as to what drive pedals pair well with it.

On my Helix I've got a Dynacomp on most of my presets.

Mine is always set to having the lines on each dial face each other. I've tried other settings, but these work ro my liking. Easy to dial up too. I love to pair it with my MXR Double-Double Drive set to the "lo" side of the flip switch.

Don't mean to rain on your parade but I had one and it was just too noisy for me.

Mine is whisper quiet. The 2nd of 15 pedals. I suspect you use a different power supply for your pedal and amp. Or some cable is faulty.

Yeah maybe something was wrong with it. I traded it to a guy for an EHX Soul Preacher and put it on the same spot with dedicated power supply on my board and that one was nice and quiet though.
