NGD,Taylor GS mini-e koa plus, plugged in distorted
Got it home. Fresh new battery. Plugged into my Fishman Loudbox Mini, distorted. Plugged it into my Bose S1, distorted. Plugged it into my TC Helicon V60, distorted.
It's not a Ted Nugent kind of distortion but it sure ain't clean! Less when fingerpicking as opposed to a pick, but it's still noticeable. Help!

FINALLY had a chance to swap out the Taylor GS mini-e Koa for another one. HUGE difference in tone. Much more pleasant with the new one. Not nearly as harsh or tinny to my ears. Some may prefer the more treble sound, but it wasn't for me. Thanks to GC for being so helpful.
The sound difference was very obvious. Maybe there was a preamp problem or maybe the Taylor preamps can be that much different. Interesting......
