Default Belated NGD - another Froggy!

Over the past several weeks, I had the pleasure corresponding with a great AGF member and I was able to work out an agreement to purchase a beautiful Froggy H12 Adi/Madi...which I took delivery of a few days ago! Yes, another Froggy!

I have been wanting an H12 for a while now and was looking particularly for one with the right wood combo to give me the volume and big overtones I was looking for. And I will tell you....this one does not disappoint. Exactly what I was after. It can handle ANY style well -- fingerstyle, flatpicking, and strumming. Even a moderate to heavy strum -- man....the sustain...the lushness....the overtones...which I feel resonating through my body. Definitely can tell the volume difference compared to my H14 (which is no slouch), which I attribute to the Madi as well as the slightly longer body. Pretty comparable to my F12 in volume/sustain/overtones, yet so much easier to hold/play for an extended period. All my Froggys have their unique qualities, yet each one maintains the characteristic Froggy magical tone.

Big thanks to Andy! Was an absolutely pleasure doing this transaction with you.

I *think* I'm set now...but...alas, that's what I said 4 Froggys ago.

Stay safe everyone.

Killer guitar. I think FB 12-fret guitars give you the big boom for the size. I like the 14 fret guitars too, but the 12 fret models are surprising. Enjoy.

Congrats!

That's a beautiful looking Frog, but I hate to burst your bubble...but I think you need an M to complete your collection...

Seriously, congratulations on nabbing another Frog. Play that axe in good health!

Lol. Oh man....this is why the AGF can be such a dangerous place.

There was once an innocent time in my life when i had no idea what GAS was....

Thanks everyone for the well wishes and kind words.

Can you post a family picture with all the Froggys? That’s a beautiful guitar!

What are you doing? Trying to corner the Froggy market?

Adi/Madi is always a special combination, but on a 12 fret Froggy it must be truly magical.

Congratulations on a gorgeous guitar.

I'm so happy that the guitar is everything you hoped it would be! I miss it terribly already, but am so pleased it nails what you were looking for.

I was impressed by your clear sense for what you wanted and your excellent research narrowing down on not only the model but the woods (including advice from Michael Millard himself). And best of all, learning that your target guitar's tone, sustain and overtones are just what you hoped they might be. A joyful journey of success in finding the right instrument for your guitar adventures!

It was a true pleasure working with you. May you play this and all your guitars in good health for many years.

What a great looking guitar and no doubt it sounds even better. I keep looking for an H-12 as well without any success yet. This one looks so nice. CONGRATS!!

Judging by your sig, I am actually glad I've never seen a Froggy, let alone played one. They appear to be addictive and that one does indeed look very nice.
