That changed with the Organic series. The Organic series is all solid tonewoods.

They’re out there if you have patience. Comes with the hard shell case. It’s the same size/body shape as what the OP played.

I own this same guitar. Great player, great sound.

I picked up a nice Breedlove stage concert ce for under $700 a few years ago. It was a really nice guitar, but had a loose brace so I returned it. Deals like that can be had with a little patience I think.

Also, my stage concert was solid back and sides, and made in China.

I agree with the Stage as another good pick. Make sure it's solid wood all over as I think this may not have always been the case.
