I just noticed on Sweetwater that new Gibson acoustics are shipping with Fishman Sonitones?!?!

That is the ideal target for my DIY IR (a great sounding guitar with a crummy sounding pickup) and a soon to be on the market (IMHO) cheap 2048 sample IR loader (ideally one of those mini pedal form factors).

I need to experiment to see if 1024 samples is enough to improve a lesser sounding UST. That type of pedal is available now at a reasonable price.

I expect 1024 sample IR pedals when presented with a longer IR on download just do the sensible truncation (not rejection).

1024 pts is OK if you have Parametric EQ, High pass filter and blend...

2048pts is always better
