Thanks for all the comments.
Looks like I will have it in hand on Thursday. Can't wait! I think about the last one I had. I miss that sound.

Bruce, we’ve discussed this. All you need to do is move to California, get a job working at McDonalds, eat only those hamburgers that you “accidentally” drop on the floor, and save every dime from every paycheck until you have enough money to buy a Gibson SJ-200 for yourself. It should take, I don’t know, only three or four years to save up the money to do that, provided that you sleep in your car and don’t waste money on rent. Oh, wait - your car would be back in Australia, wouldn’t it? I’ve got an old Subaru Forester you could sleep in.... Wade Hampton “I Know, I’m A Compassionate Guy” Miller |

Thats not far from what i did when i wanted( needed) my J200, the main difference being a couple of years on rice and lentils and supermarket beer, the collateral advantages being nicotine free, and being a part time vegetarian and that makes playing my hard earned gibson all the sweeter.enjoy your new guitar mate.

Bruce knows that even if he’s reduced to eating hamburgers that he’s dropped on the floor, if he slathers enough Vegemite on them he can make them edible (by Australian standards...)

Love that autumn burst!!
An SJ200 is a staple for me. I've never been truly contented without having one around. I bought my first one in 2004, which was a 2003 that the previous owner found too big for him. Man, I played the heck out of that guitar. Took it all over the world with me on the road, eight years, four albums and over 1500 gigs. Two refrets and two headstock repairs later, it was pretty tired and fragile, so traded it with a friend for an AJ in 2012. Never really jived with the Rosewood AJ and really missed having the 200 around, as I seldom played anything else when I owned it. Four years later, after getting divorced and subsequently getting back on my feet financially, I was offered a deal on a 2015 SJ200, new old stock, at trade price by a dealer friend of mine. I had a choice of five, and picked out what still remains one of the very, very best guitars I have ever heard. Just a basic SJ200 Standard in Antique Natural, no bells or whistles beyond the standard bling. Tone to die for and a sensational neck. Enjoy yours!!

Congrats on the new SJ-200. I just got my first Jumbo last month, so I'm still learning what they're all about, but I really love the vibe they have. I hope yours sounds as good as it looks.
