Tuner, Capo, 2 thumbpicks, 2 flatpicks, 2 sets strings, string winder, pen, sometimes a spare battery.

The hang tags and any case candy that came with the new guitar. Sometimes the truss rod wrench if there was one included. I never found the case pocket to be very convenient for carrying things I might need at a gig.

Mine has the end pin, the key to the case and the package from the set of strings that are currently on the guitar marked with the date they were installed.

All legal stuff these days.

Just did a quick look. Only storing the usual...picks, a set of strings, microfiber cloth, G7 capo, Phillips head screwdriver, needle nose pliers.

I only use guitar case as storage and not for traveling, so I only keep the key for the case and my handwritten notes about what different strings I've tried on each guitar.

Any old parts I replaced on the guitar. A description of the guitar, what it's made up, date purchased, weight, upgrades, and total spent on guitar including upgrades and case.

Different stuff in different cases. The acoustic guitars that go to sessions typically will have a capo, an assortment of picks, and a truss rod wrench in the neck box. I've got an electric I bought in the '70s with a few other interesting items - the original price hang tag is in there and I usually keep all the original hardware that has been replaced for practical reasons in there as well so that it is complete for evaluation purposes. One of my steel guitars is 80 years old and the original tuning keys are becoming fragile. The previous owner nicely acquired a few extras for the future so they live there.

Pretty average stuff.

Cotton cloth, capo, maybe a flat pick, the last strings I used (in the newest strings' box, dated), and a strap. Usually the strap has to sit under the headstock, which is good as it adds support. And if I have any interesting info on the guitar, that might be in there as well.

Capo, pick tin, battery (spare), truss rod wrench (some, not all), sound hole plug (also some, not all), clip-on tuner (again some, not all).

Default Not Much

I don't have much in my two acoustic cases because they are the Collings Traditional cases and about the only thing going in there is the guitar (and barely). I can fit some picks, capo, small tuner, but to put strings in there I literally have to take them out of the cardboard covers and use the plastics bags they come in. Even then I have to bend them a bit. I don't mind however - I love these cases.
