Default How to clean your CF fretboard

I notice that the fingerprint is quite obvious with carbon fiber fretboard. Is there any suggestion about the suggested treatment of it?

Which guitar? Most CF instruments have a glossy cast epoxy (?) fret board which is polished. You should be able to clean that with almost anything, including a dry cloth run under the strings while in place, or a damp cloth when strings are off. Recent Emerald guitars have begun using a matte unidirectional CF veneer, so they probably don't show fingerprints or smudges. I will find out when my custom X20 comes later this summer, being my first example of the new fret board.

At least you won't have to "oil" or "feed" them.

RainSong recommends a couple of Meguiar's car detailing products for cleaning and polishing their guitars (I think the details are available on their site). But I've never needed anything more than Windex and a paper towel to get mine looking new again.

Default Cleaning

Just got my 1st CF Guitar Rainsong APLE. RS recommends McGuires and I had some in the shed, they are right. It works great.

I've used Meguiar's Quik Detailer, as recommended by RainSong, for my APLE, Journey, and now my Emerald. I am pleased with the results.
