Default Trade help

Working on a trade...

My 2014 Martin D-16RGT for a 2019 Martin DSS-17.

Was wondering what’s everybody’s concenses on the DSS-17?

Both parties will have to ship guitars, any advice?

The 17 series are great guitars. Very unique tone and vintage vibes. I've played a couple of DSS-17's (and owned a 000-17 for a bit) and liked them quite a bit. But would recommend trying to play one first if you haven't, they are super lightly built so they're nothing like say, a D-18, that has the same woods. Not a bad thing by any means, just different.

In terms of a trade, make sure that you have worked out a solid plan with the other party (i.e. here's the date we are both going to ship the guitars, exchanging tracking info, etc) and that you have all pertinent contact information as well. I like having a phone number and an email address for something like that, and you'd obviously have the buyer's physical address as well so that way you have enough information in case something were to go wrong/they tried to pull a fast one.

I enjoyed the one I played at GC a while back. The size was a bit big for me, but it had an addictive sound and a nice feel to it. I only played one, so I'm not sure I'm qualified to answer your question.
