I am reducing my studio gear and have a couple of AKG mics that have served me well for recording acoustic guitar in the past. These are vintage mics, probably from the 1970s or maybe earlier. The Serial numbers: AKG 451 EB capsule CK1 79177; body serial number is 51748.

I am including the mic holders, original boxes, an extra CK1 capsule (for free), and all that you in the picture. I never used the extra capsule so I don't know if it works, but it should.

About the mics: I ended up getting much more expensive Schoeps mics and to me, there is not a big difference in sound for the money. Yes, the Schoeps are better but when I had to send one back to Germany for cleaning, I used one of the AKGs and could not tell an appreciative difference. This is a great opportunity to pick up some vintage mics before I put them on Ebay or Reverb.

I will provide sound samples as soon as I can get in the studio and you will hear the difference between these and the Schoeps in a mic comparison trial.
