Question Baggs PADI and Ground-Lift

I'm considering getting a Baggs Para Acoustic D.I. In part it would replace a normal direct box, and (of course) add some good EQ controls. But I'm concerned about groud-loop issues.

Right now when not playing in my local church I use a direct box with a ground-lift. There have been some times I've really needed it due to some really loud hum in the system until I enabled the lift.

The PADI doesn't (appear) to have a ground-lift, and I'm concerned that in situations where it's needed (like this one building I mentioned) I'd be in trouble. I mean, it wouldn't do me much good to use a PADI to replace a direct box if I still need to use the direct box to get the ground lift.

So, (for those who own a PADI) what's the deal? How do you deal with ground-loop problems?

Thanks.
