Thanks again to you all! I’m getting close to making an offer - do you think $1,000 is a good price for the used L-03-12R? It appears to be in really good shape (I can’t play it - it’s about 4 hours away), built in 2009...

After playing a bunch of guitars at the time, I ordered a LV03MT 12 string Larrivee new in November 2005 with a bone nut and saddle.

Just played it for an hour tonight with no regrets.

$1,000 out the door new.

Under 4 hours sounds like a road (day) trip to me. Once you see it, play it, and learn more about it you'll be able to determine if $1k is a good price. Generally speaking it seems reasonable for a quality Larrivee. Good luck!

I got it! For a little less than I thought. I’ll have it in hand in about a week. I’m very excited - will give a report when she’s here.

I’m only about 40 minutes from Randy Wood Guitars. I’ll probably take her over for a once over and to install a pick up for performance.
