The Flower of Magherally
This is one of my absolute favorite Irish tunes. I started learning Jim Tozier's DADGAD arrangement in his Celtic Guitar Solos and Guy Bergeron’s arrangement too, but ended up making some changes and playing it in standard tuning.
I'm playing my new McIlroy AP25 Custom and used the Shure MV88 for recording. No post editing. Some day I'll delve into Garageband or the like  Its a very simple arrangement but I hope you enjoy. Thanks for listening.

So lovely! And the audio quality on the MV88 is fantastic. Did you have to adjust the gain on the mic at all?

The gain was at the recommended preset, but given my mic placement (12” off the bridge, slightly below) I think I should have lowered gain a bit. But then again it was outside haha! All in all I really love the MV88 for my purposes! I bet it would be even better in even a slightly sound-controlled room.
