2019 Taylor GS Mini-E Walnut imperfection
Quote:
Very Possible... it is at least somewhat comforting that there is not any cracks, or scratches in the sound hole opposite the marks on the back... The Solid woods on the top are perfect too... even still has the plastic on the pick guard lol

Update from Taylor
Adam Bernal (Taylor Guitars)
Jul 27, 2020, 4:23 PM PDT Hello Justin, It does not appear to be a crack (typically both wood and finish cracks are relatively straight and run along grain lines). It appears that the finish may be beginning to lift. Certainly a tech will be better able to assess the damage and issue you the appropriate repair advice. Not many of our techs are certified for finish repairs so it depends on who you are taking it to, but I can check that for you if you like. Thank you, Adam Bernal Next stop Seven C music in St. Pete to see what they have to say, but maybe I got a decent deal after all, and I had planned for it to be a beater so who cares if my 2 year old finds it :-)
