They may not get another chance not to start him again.

Holt just hit for the cycle. Against the Yankee’s other catcher. That says a lot about game 3.

Perhaps Aaron Judge shouldn't have showboated and walked in front of the Fenway Red Sox dugout blasting New York New York after game 2 (the team had already gone to the locker room by that point). That was all over the news.

Here's to game 4 tonight!

I've hated the Yankees since the George Steinbrenner days...still do.
Since my Indians were swept away in three, I will root for ANY team not named the Yankees.
I am currently but temporarily a huge Red Sox fan.

Well, it was a messy finish, but the Sox take the series!

Hopefully Kimbrel just needed to get a bad outing out of the way so he can be sharp the rest of the way.

That was a terrible 9th. I’m glad the Yankees are in the rear-view mirror.

Congrats Red Sox! We're off to the ALCS. Kimbrel has had some off moments this season, hopefully they don't cost us a game.

Since two ex-Pirates are on the Yankees roster I was half-heartedly rooting for them but it just seemed to remind me of how disenfranchised I am from MLB as a whole. It was certainly an anticlimatic finish but given that Yankee fans were throwing beer cans in the bull pen as Boston's closer was escorted out by a police man (who did nothing but give a dirty look upward) I felt that the pageantry was sickening.

How about them Brewers? NLCS game 2 in an hour after a win last night. 12 consecutive wins! I fear our pitching will hurt us in the playoffs, but it's been a fun ride for the past month.

What was wrong with Sale last night? He couldn't throw strikes in that 2nd inning.

I still don't think he's right from the shoulder injury. Price is on the mound tonight... it's not looking good as a Sox fan.

The story is out now that he has been admitted to the hospital with a stomach illness. I expect that explains him not being on top of his form. Hopefully he will be back in a couple of days.

Another nail biter in the 9th. Remember when Kimbrel used to come on and mow through the heart of the order?

I sure miss those days.

I read that. Hopefully he's ready to go - we need him!

Not sure what happened to Kimbrel.

I was shocked when I saw Price was pitching. I read an ESPN article today about the game and they made it seem like Price pitched well because after 0-10 in playoff games he started his team finally got a win, even though he had a no decision.

But - series tied 1-1. Go Red Sox!
