Default Zoom hn2 help please

Hi ,just got a zoom hn2.need advice from owners out there.over all i'am quite pleased with it apart from the playback ,the volume is really low.wondering if this a fault or is low volume is normal on these .volume sounds ok through headphones . Thks dave.

The speaker on the H2N is more or less a reference speaker to let you know you've actually recorded something. The sound quality is poor but it wasnt meant to be a quality speaker/monitor. The previous version (H2) didnt have a speaker so this would be considered a slight upgrade to the original H2. When listening on mine, I always use a set of earbuds and it sounds great.

You could also connect it to a good set of computer speakers
