Collings OM-1 German Short Scale
Bought new from The North American Guitar less than six months ago. This is a really powerful and dynamic OM that I’ve been using as much for flat picking as fingerstyle. It was a custom order form Collings with bland fingerboard, neck purfling, and some of the most beautiful maple for the back, sides, and neck that I’ve ever seen in a guitar. When I first played this guitar, I was really taken with the projection and balance, but also the nice warmth that the maple provides. With the soft v neck and 1 11/16 nut, it’s a really fast and comfortable guitar. Action is great for fingerstyle and flatpick at just under 7/64 on low E.
I’m asking $5k shipped and paypald conus. New from Collings, this would be a $6,500 guitar.
