Default Blackbird Tabs

Can anyone point me in the right direction toward getting a set of tabs for the song blackbird? Especially as taught by Marty Schwartz? I’m not sure if that is included in one of his lessons or not. Thanks! Will

Plenty of good ones online. Google brings them all up. First three I checked all seem accurate.
The songster one has lyrics attached, although they don't fully line up in the right place (the last lines are off).

Remember Paul didn't fingerpick it in quite the usual way, if you wanted it in his style. He played alternating bass, but his thumb would strum the open G on the off-beats rather than pick it.

You can watch him here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RDxfjUEBT9I

IMO, with all those tabs and that video - who needs Marty Schwartz? Unless he does something new and cool with it??

I have studied the guitar style of Paul McCartney closely. Most of the tabs and tutorials for this song are incorrect. The fingerpicking pattern is unique from what you usually see. This video is very accurate

I should relearn that tune because I still play it the way I figured out when I was a teenager. And it wasn't the same way Paul did, but it worked for me at the time.

Good tune.

I'm not saying you shouldn't relearn it, but I don't think anybody should play it the way Paul did.

Except for Paul, of course. But that's different.

This guy is a good resource, we referenced his videos (along with the book The Beatles Score) when putting together our tribute to Abbey Road last year. He’s very thorough with their vocal harmonies too.

Yes, he's got that strange mix of picking and strumming that McCartney used.

Most of the tabs I found from a quick google were accurate (for the fret hand), but of course they don't show the picking style.

yes, that's pretty much it.

This guy has a lot of YT vids that break down vocals too. He's pretty much got it all figured out on the tunes he has vids for. impressive talent.

Pretty straight forward in his video. Shouldn't be much of a chore

I'm working on this song but have been fingerpicking it rather than using Sir Paul's "pointer finger flick" style. ;-) However, I do want to learn that, so this is a great reference. Much better than the others I've seen so far. Thank you.

You can see Paul's own technique close-up here:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RDxfjUEBT9I&t=25 (from time-stamp, slow the youtube if necessary.

Personally I prefer to play it in fingerstyle anyway.
