For Sale: 1937 Gibson L-00
FS - PRICE REDUCED $1,000... 1937 Gibson L-00.
This guitar is a very, very good sounding guitar. I am in the process of reducing the total number of my guitars to two or three. The string action is very good with ability to lower the action more in the future. Has a truss rod. I purchased this from Schoenberg guitars about three years ago with repaired cracks. The body is in very good condition and nothing has changed since purchasing except that the top was rising and I had it lowered by a Martin Authorized dealer this past summer. The bridge, bridge plate and all bracing were checked and solid. Here are the unsolicited notes from the luthier who did the top repair about the guitar when returned back to me: "Intonation is good at the 12th fret. This is a fantastic sounding guitar and I recommend not installing strings over 011-052". Of course there are .012"-.053" strings that have the same or less tension than some custom light sets. Currently, I have Ernie Ball Earthwood 011-052 phosphor bronze strings on it and I would never have thought custom light strings could have so much projection and sound. I can provide more pictures if requested. $4,995 plus $100 shipping to CONUS Last edited by 00018; 12-17-2019 at 01:12 PM. Reason: lower price |

Yes, there are repaired crack(s). I purchased this guitar 2 1/2 years ago from schoenberg and they had all repairs accomplished which have not changed.
