Will Green Bay with their patented "porosity defense" be able to fend off the Bears? I hope so, but I have little faith at this point.

How about the opposite, two teams have gone 11-5 and not made the playoffs, including the Patriots the year Brady was hurt and Matt Cassels took over. Denver also had the same years earlier but there were less playoff teams.

Was it last year the chargers made it as a wildcard with something like a 12-5?

I forgot about that. Just looked it up... 2018 the Chargers were tied with Kansas City at 12-4 (the only two teams with at least 12 wins in the conference) but they were a wild card team. Patriots were 11-5 and were the second seed and ended up beating the Chargers, Chiefs and the Rams to win the Super Bowl. Ah, good memories

Yep. Won the division at 7/9, hosted a home playoff game and beat the defending world champion Saints. The "Beast Quake" game.

Can't be easy for a team to just sit around and wait for word, especially the second time around like the Steelers.

How about the first place Washington Team with a hefty 4-7 record after beating the Cowboys.
If the league has not considered the possibility of needing to extend the season for make up games, well...

They should also postpone the Saints/Broncos, given Denver has no quarterbacks not in The Thing protocols. Not even on the practice squad. I suppose that Elway could suit up...

Why not? Should winning the division not matter? So if a team is lucky enough to play in a division with only one other good team who wins out over them and happen to have a soft schedule, they should host a game against a team what played in a division with 3-4 good teams and who beat each other? NFC West this year (Seattle and Rams are good, and Arizona rising.) NFC North a couple of ears ago, with Da Bears, The Pack and Vikings all very good. AFC West or AFC South a few years ago.

A team wins the division, they get a home game. If they are a better team than the wild card with the better record, they beat them. If they are not, they lose.

Patriots pulled it off! Brady had a very rough first half. Let’s see if they can turn it around on this second half.

If Brady had been drafted by Bruce Arians, he would have been out of the league in a year. BA has him playing like a 6th round pick.

Brady has been messing up too. Two interceptions right after big plays. If the defense can shut down Mahomes in this quarter, then the Bucs have a chance.

I was watching most of it - when the Pats got that illegal blocked called on that return that would have went for a TD I was a bit irritated.

I understand protecting players, but that was a good clean block in my opinion. Let the guys play ball.

Well it happened a day later than expected, but it happened....the lions fired Coach Patricia and GM Quinn. Good riddance.

Well, that was a gift for the Saints today.

Brady has been off a bit, but it's mostly due to Arians' awful play calling and offense. He runs no motion, doesn't run much, doesn't play action, and basically does nothing Brady likes to do. It's frustrating to watch.

Yep he’s no Belichick for sure. Romo did mention a few times when Brady used plays off the Patriots. And they worked.
